Spring is here! To celebrate the new season, is rounding up some of the best celebrity floral moments on the red carpet. First up, our all-time favorite — the show-stopping green Valentino gown Elle Fanning wore during the Cannes Film Festival in 2019. Mindy Kaling arrived at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in a Naeem Khan design straight from the runway! The long-sleeved frock featured a plunging neckline and bold white, yellow, red and burgundy floral designs over a dramatic black background.

Sometimes you only need a few flowers to make a statement! Salma Hayek’s 2018 BAFTAs gown is the perfect example. The star arrived in a gorgeous Gucci number with a pink rose detail at the waist and at the base of the long, fitted sleeves that added just enough pizazz to the otherwise simple black velvet design.

Back in 2018 at the Costume Designers Guild Awards, Kerry Washington stunned in a gorgeous green and hot pink gown by Dolce&Gabbana. The garden-like confection was subtly sheer with a green leaf motif that featured pretty pink floral embellishments.

A more subtle floral print that really wowed us on the red carpet? The gorgeous black Stella McCartney gown Busy Philipps wore to the Golden Globes in 2017. That year, the actress arrived arrived in a long-sleeved frock with a low neckline and sweet yellow, white and green floral details down the bodice. 

At the 2015 Academy Awards, Keira Knightley arrived pregnant and glowing in a stunning Valentino design featuring subdued pink floral embellishments popping atop a tan backdrop mixed in with cursive phrases, delivering a romantic and dreamy vibe.

The most surprising floral-print ensemble we’ve admired? That has to be Rihanna’s 2017 Met Gala look. She arrived in this Commes des Garcons couture piece straight from the runway. It was crafted from floral-print fabric patches layered like flower petals down the bodice and asymmetrical skirt.

Jennifer Lopez rocked pink roses on her Richard Quinn dress at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in 2020. The star sported a ballgown in a strapless silhouette that featured a dramatic train and a high-low hemline that showed off pointy-toe pumps that matched the hue of those bold blooms. 

Though flowers and stripes are an unlikely combo, Sophie Turner pulled off both at the “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” premiere in 2019. The star arrived in this strapless and fitted Louis Vuitton design — complete with a thick chunky belt — that featured a subtle floral print in white and grays underneath a bold black stripe. It was an unexpectedly chic combo. 

“Game of Thrones” star Lena Headey’s 2019 Primetime Emmys gown was fit for a queen. The actress arrived in a sweet mint green Brock Collection design with a mauve floral print, tiered ruffles and a velvety bow detail on the bodice. 

Florals are perfect for the BAFTA Tea Party! Rachel Brosnahan proved that in 2019 when she arrived at the event in this neon Christian Siriano midi-length frock with pretty floral appliques throughout. 

Zendaya pulled off a crisp navy blue-and-white color combo at the CFDA x Vogue Fashion Fund Dinner in 2016. The stylish star stunned in the off-the-shoulder Michael Kors number in a white floral print designed with edgy cut-outs at the waist. 

One of the boldest floral print moments we’ve seen took place at the 2012 Met Gala. Sarah Jessica Parker arrived in a pale pink floral-print ivory gown by Valentino that had a romantically vintage feel.

Roses are always in style! Rachel McAdams proved this at the 2016 Golden Globes when she sported a sweet strapless Lanvin gown with an all-over red rose print.

An edgier take on roses? That went down at the 2019 Primetime Emmys when Kendall Jenner arrived in this sleek Richard Quinn look. The design started out as a black leather PVC turtleneck with long sleeves and flowed into a fitted red rose-printed gown with a mermaid silhouette. 

Suki Waterhouse donned this sweet Brock Collection gown at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in London in 2018. The pale blue frock featured dramatic short sleeves, a high-low hemline and a delicate all-over pale pink floral print. 

We’ll never forget the ballgown Heidi Klum wore to the Golden Globes in 2019! The model arrived in a black strapless Monique Lhuillier gown with a sweetheart neckline and a full skirt teeming with floral appliques in different cheery colors. 

Model Shanina Shaik showed off a fun way to wear florals — mix them with polka dots! The beauty arrived at the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in 2018 wearing this Carolina Herrera minidress that combined both of the bold prints — black-and-white polka dots atop long, off-the-shoulder sleeves and an all-over cheery yellow print with pops of white and pink flowers.

Sarah Paulson gave daisies a much-deserved moment at the Toronto Film Festival in 2019. The stylish star arrived in a long-sleeved Miu Miu creation that featured a bold all-over white daisy print and a midi-length skirt with a ruffled hemline. 

Sienna Miller donned this sweet Dolce&Gabbana minidress back in 2013 at the BMW i3 Global Launch. She paired the garden-inspired sleeveless design with black Charlotte Olympia heels for a look that was ready to go from day to night. 

We love a good Brock Collection floral gown. Lili Reinhart arrived at the CFDA Fashion Awards in 2018 wearing a floor-length long-sleeved design that showed off the best of the label’s romantic and beautiful creations. This one came complete with an all-over pale pink flower print and a ruffled peplum detail at the waist. 

Priyanka Chopra had a bridal floral moment in 2016 when she attended the Academy Awards in this strapless white Zuhair Murad design with a sweetheart neckline, a belt at the waist and a romantic train detail.

Kerry Washington appropriately decided to go for the gold — and add just hint of floral — at the 2017 Golden Globes. The star arrived in this sweet and unique midi-lengthy Dolce&Gabbana design with embellished cap sleeves, a funky half-belt detail and an all-over metallic floral pattern. 

Neon flowers! Hailee Steinfeld opted for edgy floral hues in bright yellows, oranges, blues and pinks courtesy of designer Jason Wu when she hit the red carpet at the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards in this stunning semi-sheer strapless creation.

Pretty in pink! Celine Dion arrived at a 2017 Giambattista Valli fashion show in this darling long-sleeved ruffled number by the brand. The minidress featured an all-over delicate pink floral print that she boldly paired with edgy burgundy over-the-knee boots.
