I’m an interior designer – the simple ways you can spruce up the lonely corner in your house
WE'VE all got that one corner in our house that we don't know what to do with.
But luckily, interior design expert Liz Lovery, who is from the US, has shared a selection of easy but effective ways to style such empty spaces.
Taking to TikTok, the expert firstly suggests adding plants to help "add height" to the area, before advising homeowners to fill the space with furniture.
Among her suggestions include a stylish chair, ottoman, blanket and pillow.
Liz then goes on to demonstrate how adding window plants can make a lonely corner feel warm and homely.

Finally, the interior designer recommends adding books, candles and slippers to "cosy it up."
And it wasn't long before Liz's social media followers took to the comments section to praise her handy hacks.

In response to one person who asked: "Ok but what if I only have £7.50," Liz replied: "I would definitely do some thrift shopping and try to upcycle some things!"
"Also take your time! This took me a few weeks to accumulate everything."
