More of us are turning to steamy page-turners to keep our sex drive alive in lockdown.

Online searches for erotic fiction have more than doubled in some parts of the country, with books by Fifty Shades creator EL James and Riders author Jilly Cooper proving particularly popular.

But if you are new to bonkbusters, where should you start?

Something sweet and romantic?

Or are you ready for a really raunchy read?

Here, Mills & Boon author Rachael Stewart — whose most recent book Getting Dirty is out now — sizes up the sizzle and sauce in some of the most titillating titles.

"Logan won’t rush you to the finish line.

“It is all about delivering pleasure along the way and being sure you feel every single word.”
