A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman, 44, recently revealed she had coronavirus after undergoing an antibody test. She fell ill with symptoms of the disease back in March.

Recalling her health woes, the property expert said she found it “overwhelming” to be home alone with her two children while her husband Jon Boast worked away for two weeks.

Opening up to Closer Magazine, she said: “I fell ill with the virus in mid-March, and it wiped me out and left me fatigued.

“I had no appetite or sense of taste or smell.

“Once I recovered and we were in lockdown, it dawned on me how different everything was.

“Jon was locked down on a job for two weeks away from home when I fell ill, and I had two young kids and a puppy to look after.

“The reality was overwhelming.”

Jasmine went on say she had also gained weight during lockdown, due to not being able to exercise.

“I was on duty 24/7 and I was eating so much more,” she added.

The Channel 4 star first started to experience symptoms the day before she was due to travel to Spain to film for the property show.

The mother-of-two opened up about her symptoms in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk earlier this month.

Jasmine revealed she had been struggling to breathe and also lost her sense of smell and taste.

“Nothing really tasted very nice, it didn’t taste of anything, nothing really smelt of anything,” she added.

“I didn’t want to drink wine or anything like that at all, I wasn’t bothered.

“When I breathed in, I felt like I couldn’t take a full breath.”

Jasmine went on to say she was now making up for “lost time” with her family during lockdown.

The presenter tied the knot with her spouse Jon Boast in 2009.

The married couple first met on the set of A Place In The Sun, where Jon worked as a camera man.

Jasmine and Jon share two children together; Albion and Joy.

The host’s co-star Laura Hamilton recently confirmed the team are “gearing up” to film the new series of the show as lockdown measures ease.

A Place In The Sun continues today at 3pm on Channel 4.
