Anton Du Beke, 54, is best known as a Strictly Come Dancing professional but the star has often spoken up about his family life in interviews. Recently, he appeared on Lorraine with his wife Hannah Summers, 45, as the pair discussed conceiving through IVF and the hardship which came with it.
There was nothing glamourous or romantic
Through IVF, Anton and Hannah were able to conceive their twins George and Henrietta who are now three years old.
However, during the candid chat, Hannah told Lorraine Kelly how there was “nothing glamourous” about this time.
She explained: “Once you go down that route, then it is something you’re very much doing together.
“Whether it’s from the initial conversations about the fact you’re going to do it to the fact that you’re injecting yourself through to the fact at one point I had to have these awful muscular injections in my bottom, these big needles and you had to administer those on a nightly basis.”
Hannah then went on to add: “There was nothing glamourous or romantic.
“You think of the Strictly thing and that wasn’t reality at home.”
Anton also waded in about their IVF journey, adding about how he felt when they were doing it.
He explained: “It’s such a situation that Hannah, and women, literally do on their own.
“As a man, you try and do anything you can but essentially I’m there supporting and just being there for anything that Hannah needs.
“And I have the utmost respect and pride in Hannah.”
The Strictly professional then added: “The truth is you’re just overwhelmed with pride and admiration for what she’s going through really.”
Anton and Hannah live in Buckinghamshire together with their two children.
They met in 2011 at a dinner party and Anton has previously confided he was immediately smitten with her.
The couple wed in May 2017 at Clivedon House Hotel in Berkshire with just a handful of guests.

During her interview on Lorraine, Hannah was also raising awareness about endometriosis.
Hannah has suffered from the condition for many years, which sees tissue similar to the lining of the womb grow in other places.
She explained: “The problem with me is, it’s quite hard to hide.
“It was one of those things where on a monthly basis, I looked like I was six months pregnant.
“One of the side effects is obviously the pain, but I had tremendous swelling.”
Anton is very supportive of his wife’s condition and raising awareness for the cause.
Back in March, he tweeted: “My loves, something very personal to me & my darling Hannah: March is #Endometriosis month – a condition which can bring such pain & suffering to so many women.
“Learn more at @EndometriosisUK – do share to help raise awareness, we’d so appreciate it. Much love, Anton & Hannah XX.”
