Here’s How You Can Watch Every Episode Of Counting On
Before Counting On came the TLC series 19 Kids and Counting. It followed the heads of the Duggar family, Michelle and Jim Bob, as they raised their enormous brood of children according to their faith. As strange as the Duggar lifestyle may have seemed to more secular folks, many viewers couldn’t look away. At its height, the reality series drew in over 2 million viewers an episode. However, the original series came to a scandalous end in 2015. InTouch Weekly published old police reports revealing that the oldest Duggar son, Josh Duggar, was accused of molesting five minors from 2002 to 2003, years before the show’s 2008 premiere. Among his accusers, four of them were his sisters.
Josh confessed in a statement shared on the family’s Facebook page. “Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling,” he shared.
After the show was canceled, TLC developed a way for the Duggar story — sans Josh — to continue. Enter: Counting On. This spinoff series initially focused on Jill and Jessa Duggar. If you’re looking to get caught up on Counting On, here’s how.
