Isle Of Wight Festival Scrapped Due To Coronavirus

The Isle of Wight Festival 2020 has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The iconic British music festival was scheduled to take place from June 11 to 14 at Seaclose Park in Newport.

The headliners of Isle of Wight Festival 2020 included Duran Duran, Lionel Richie and Snow Patrol.

“This decision hasn’t been taken lightly and we have tried our hardest to make it work, but it was unavoidable given the current status,” the organizers said in a statement.

The Isle Of Wight Festival said its ticketing partners will process refunds, and if the ticket holders prefer, they can retain the ticket and carry it over to next year.

Those who booked ferry travel with Red Funnel, Wightlink or Hovertravel have been advised to visit https://isleofwightfestival.com/news/2020/information-on-pre-booked-ferry-crossings for information regarding their booking.
