Former Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan, 43, has paid tribute to his “amazing” father, Allan, five weeks after he died from a terminal brain tumour. The heartbroken Dancing on Ice winner has spoken openly about his devastation at his father being diagnosed with an incurable tumour a year ago and revealed that today he was finally putting him to rest following his battle with the disease.

He wrote: “Today is the funeral of the most amazing man I have ever met,” followed by a broken heart emoji.
After a fan commented that they were nursing their own dad following a diagnosis of a brain tumour, the former Strictly professional penned a message of support.
“My thoughts and prayers are with you. It’s a devastating disease,” he wrote.
The dancer also took to Instagram to share a touching video in memory of his father’s life.
It opened with the caption: “In memory of a life lived to its fullest in every way.
“A loving husband, father and grandfather,” it read, while Frank Sinatra’s song My Way played.
The tribute showed his father Allan’s journey from childhood to being a grandfather.
Later in the clip, James and wife Ola Jordan, 38, featured alongside his dad, before the video zoomed in on a sweet shot of Allan alongside Ella, his granddaughter.
The video ended: “Allan Paul Jordan 31st August 1952 – 13th March 2021.”
Fans flooded the comments section, voicing their support for the Strictly dancer.
Bianca Gascoigne simply left a heart emoji in support.
One fan wrote: “Beautiful to watch and sad for your loss too.”

Another penned: “A beautiful tribute. Taken too soon but a life lived to the full. May your many memories bring you all peace and comfort.”
Allan was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour after suffering multiple seizures following the birth of James and Ola’s daughter, Ella.
Sharing the devastating news with fans, James said it was the “worst time” of his life.
He also revealed that his dad was told by doctors he had “a year” to live, following chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment.
Just over a month ago, the ballroom dancer took to Twitter to announce the death of his father to fans.
He wrote: “My dad became an angel at 8.05am.”
“I will forever miss him. My dad will always be my HERO.”(sic)
James ended the short statement: “RIP Daddy”.
