Judge Rinder emotionally reveals his grandfather has died from coronavirus
Judge Rinder has revealed he has lost his beloved 92 year-old grandfather to coronavirus.
In a tearful interview on today’s This Morning, the TV legal eagle, 41, honoured his granddad’s memory.

Chatting to hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes via video link, he told viewers: “My grandfather, who was 92, passed away from this terrible disease.”
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, whose real name is Robert, went on to recall what a hero his grandfather was.
"The thing is he survived the Second World War, and he was a man determined and conspired to see joy in the world,” Robert explained, adding that he was determined to carry on his positive legacy.
“As much as there is terrible and appalling news out there we also, as community, as neighbours, as a country need to remember there are thousands of people who are recovering from this disease every single day,” Robert stressed.
"Whenever I saw him, which was very often, I loved him very much, he'd say 'what good news is there son?'
The telly favourite continued: “It’s been a challenging time but I remember him in a positive way.
“We can choose to drown ourselves in the negativity and horror, or choose to galvanise ourselves to be at our very best and that's the way I'm going to choose to remember him."
Robert’s sad loss comes after he himself believed he had the virus which is currently sweeping the world.
During an earlier appearance on This Morning last week, he told how he was only “just through the other side after 20 days.”
"I had a terrible temperature, appalling cough and was lying with my feet on the ground with my head on the bed in a coma watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians so I must have been really ill,” Robert revealed.
The star “refused” to pay for a private test, however, out of solidarity with frontline NHS staff who “can’t get tests.”
Following his appearance on the show today, Robert was flooded with supportive messages on social media from fans saddened to hear about his loss.
One wrote on twitter: “So sorry for your loss judge rinder. Your grandfather will be looking down on you now and he would be so proud.”
A second said: “My condolences to you judge Rinder xxx”
And a third added: “So sad about your grandfather ,sending love thought and prayers #judgerinder”
