Jussie Smollett Reportedly Knew Alleged Attacker From Gay Bathhouse
Rumor has it, the former ‘Empire’ actor met one of the Osundario brothers in an upscale Chicago bathhouse which is frequented by a lot of black gay men.
AceShowbiz –Jussie Smollett and his alleged attacker, Abel Osundairo, previously enjoyed a sexual relationship, an insider has alleged.
The actor stands accused of making a series of false reports to the Chicago Police Department in Illinois last January 2019 when he claimed to have been the victim of a vicious hate crime attack in the city.
However, officials insist he staged the incident against himself to gain publicity, paying brothers Abel and Ola Osundairo to pull off the beating.
According to a new report, the former “Empire” star was more than friends with one of his alleged attackers, as the pair had an intimate relationship after meeting at an upscale Chicago bathhouse.
“They used to party together and he had a sexual relationship with (Abel),” a source told the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six. “They went to this affluent Chicago bathhouse multiple times and they had to show ID. It’s known as a bathhouse where a lot of affluent black gay men hang out.”
“There should be a record (of their visits),” they said, adding that the bathhouse records may be subpoenaed in Smollett’s upcoming trial on charges of disorderly conduct.
Abel and Ola have denied they are gay and sued Smollett’s Hollywood lawyers, Tina Glandian and Mark Geragos, last year 2019 for defamation, after they insinuated there was a sexual relationship between Smollett and one of the brothers in an interview with “Good Morning America“.
A judge dismissed the defamation suit last month, March 2020, however, Smollett continues to fight back against the claim that he arranged for the brothers to help stage the attack on him.
Smollett has pleaded not guilty to the charges and maintains he paid the brothers $3,500 for performance enhancing drugs, but not to stage a crime.
