Love Islands first deaf contestant Tasha warns messy people give her the ick
Love Island’sTasha Ghouri has revealed her biggest turn-off ahead of entering the famous villa in Mallorca – messy men.
The show’s first-ever deaf contestant has confessed to being a bit of a control freak and desires someone who shares her standards of cleanliness.
Speaking to OK!, the 23-year-old says: “Things like chewing with your mouth open – I don’t want to see your food when I’m having my dinner! I’m a bit OCD, so I don’t like really messy people either. I want someone who’s organised and clean.”
However, while the model and dancer from Thirsk, North Yorkshire, has OCD tendencies, she has teased that she has a wild side, which she attributes to her star sign.
"I’m definitely a wild girl. I’m quite outgoing and I’m a typical Leo – I’m fiery and feisty. But I can also be serious if I need to be,” she warns.
Tasha, who wears a cochlear hearing implant, claims that while she gets attached quickly she has never been in love before, and describes her past dating life as a “shambles”.
And as she attempts to find love for the first time, she says she won’t rule anything out during her time in the villa.
“I’ve never had any luck with guys,” she says. “I've had boyfriends, but it hasn’t worked out for me. I keep wondering whether there’s something wrong with me, so I need to get into that villa and find my guy.
“I love a challenge and this is completely out of my comfort zone, so I can’t wait to throw myself in. I want to have the best time of my life and to do that I need to be open and willing to have fun and just go for it.”
However, the Love Island lads have some competition to impress the blonde beauty, who this week revealed her most memorable date experience.
She said: “The best date I’ve had was when I was in Greece for my birthday. We were at a really nice hotel and I walked past the pool and I saw hundreds of red petals, candles and everything. He said, ‘Shall we get a photo here?’ and I said, ‘I wonder who did this?’ and he said, ‘It’s for you.'"
