Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips reveals they have to wear heels in the villa and compares it to prison
Love Island star Shaughna Phillips has compared living in the villa to prison and revealed the female contestants have to wear heels.
Speaking during a Q&A on her Instagram Stories, Shaughna made the revelations after a fan asked her: “Do you feel Love Island prepared you for quarantine".
The 25 year old replied: “I don’t know about quarantine but I feel like Love Island has prepared me for prison – I feel like I have done four months of hard time! This is just what I am used to now!”

She continued of the show: “Life after Love Island was weird. Nothing can ever prepare you for it so I’m actually really appreciating lockdown.
"I feel like once I’m back out into the real world I will have a clear head on my shoulders. Love Island was a lot harder than I ever thought it could be but I enjoyed it.”
Continuing to open up about what life is really like in the Love Island villa, Shaughna also confessed that the girls have to wear heels.
The star nodded in reply to a question by a fan reading: “Are you required to wear heels in the villa?”
She also wrote: “This is my not impressed face” and revealed “my least favourite part was having to get ready every night”.
Shaughna left the villa on Valentine’s Day after Luke Mabbott chose Demi Jones in the recoupling.

Shaughna was previously coupled up with Callum Jones for just over two weeks, but the 23 year old famously chose blonde beauty Molly Smith over her after Casa Amor.
The moment led to Shaughna, who is from South East London, coming out with the iconic line: “Congrats hun”.
Callum and Molly are still going strong, with Molly revealing the pair are spending the lockdown together. Sharing a sweet snap of them together, Molly captioned the shot: “Isolation with bae @_callum_jones”.

Callum recently said he was “not bitter” about everything that happened with the star, to which Shaughna replied: “I'm so glad, I can sleep better at night”.
The star hit the headlines earlier this month when she appeared to suggest she and Callum had “done bits” in South Africa after she was quizzed about who had had sex in the villa alongside her fellow islanders.
Turning to her co-stars, she said: “Are you all saying no? I am not saying nothing. None of you should walk into church or you'll burst into flames!”
