Mariah Carey Sings ‘There’s Got To Be A Way,’ Demands Justice For George Floyd

Mariah Carey took to social media on Saturday to post a short snippet of herself singing her 1990 song, “There’s Got to Be a Way” in response to the tragic death of George Floyd.

“I don’t understand how there can be regulated bigotry/There’s got to be a way to connect this world today,” Carey croons in the 10-second clip.

“I wrote this song for my first album,” she wrote alongside the video.
“Still looking for answers today. We have to make a change. We can’t be silent. #BlackLivesMatter”

She also encouraged her more than 9 million followers to text “FLOYD” to the number 55156 to demand “#JusticForFloyd.”
