Pregnant Stacey Solomon gets emotional as Rex starts nursery
Stacey Solomon found her son Rex’s first day at nursery pretty emotional, just days after announcing she was pregnant with her fourth child.
The Loose Women panellist, 31, shared her feelings as two-year-old Rex got ready for his first day, admitting it was leaving her an emotional wreck.
As she applied transfers of his name to his water bottle, Stacey told her followers: ‘OMG my hormones weren’t ready today.
‘Oh pickle… you can stop growing up now pleeaaassseee. We love you to the moon and back baby boy.’
While Stacey may have been emotional, Rex looked like he couldn’t wait to start nursery, proudly posing with a dinosaur teddy, his lunch bag and a little backpack on, smiling broadly.
Stacey added: ‘I’m sorry I can’t’ and a crying emoji as little Rex headed to the car with his bags.
She also couldn’t wait to see Rex when she finished up filming for Loose Women adding: ‘I can’t wait to get back and ask Rex all about his day.’
Stacey added: ‘I’ve been thinking about him all day today. But Joe says he had the best day… we are so proud of you pickle. But why do you suddenly feel like a teenager?’
It has been an emotional week in Stacey’s house, after she and fiancé Joe Swash announced they were expecting their second child together after suffering miscarriages.
As well as baby Rex and bump, Stacey also has Zach, 13, and Leighton, nine, from past partners, while Joe also has 13-year-old Harry from a past relationship.
The couple also revealed that they were going to postpone their wedding, which they were planning to have in July, so all of their children could be there in the photos.
Stacey and Joe had announced the happy news on Instagram alongside a family photo with their baby scan, telling fans: ‘We are growing another pickle.
‘We’ve never felt so grateful… I have no words. We didn’t think we would get the chance. We love you all to the moon and back.’
