The Duke and Duchess will tomorrow celebrate ten years of marriage. They got engaged in October 2010 during a holiday in Kenya while their wedding took place on 29 April 2011 in Westminster Abbey.
The ceremony was televised for the world to see, with 26 million Brits tuning in to watch and around 300 million worldwide. Kate looked beautiful in a custom made Alexander McQueen dress, while William looked every inch the handsome Prince as he married his fairytale bride.
William, 38, and Kate, 39, have since become parents to three children; George, seven, Charlotte, five, and three year old Louis.
And while the couple have been happily married for a decade, Kate recalls their first meeting – while they both studied at the University of St. Andrews – as a moment she "went bright red and scuffled off."

After revealing she curtseyed to the future King, Kate said: "I actually think I went bright red when I met you and sort of scuffled off, feeling very shy."
However, the now-husband and wife became good friends and slowly forged a romance during their studies.
"We spent more time with each other, had lots of fun and realised we shared the same interests," William revealed about the beginning of their relationship.
"She's got a really naughty sense of humour, which helps me because I've got a really dry sense of humour, so it was good fun."
Speaking about their early relationship, royal author Katie Nicholl told OK!: "Kate played it very cool with William and they were friends long before any romance developed. I think that provided the best foundation for what has become a very enduring marriage.
"There was, and always has been, a deep friendship and understanding between them."

William and Kate have since shared a life of love and affection, with their incredible bond continuing to grow and develop as the years go by.
Katie added that the key to the couple's relationship is respect and compromise.
She said: "Kate and William are stronger than ever.
“They’ve been together nearly 20 years now and they’re very tuned into one another. Their relationship is based on mutual respect. They know when to compromise, when to back down and when to apologise.”
Adding: "Kate's a strong woman. If she's putting her foot down over something, which she does, William knows when to leave well alone and cave in.
"He also defers to Kate when it comes to ruling the roost and keeping the family in check. That comes very naturally to her."
She concluded: "In the early days, Kate followed William's lead, looking to him for reassurance. She's now far more capable in her role and their relationship is on much more equal footing.
"They're very happy together. Kate has been William's rock. I think William is really grateful to her. He has a partner he can depend on."
