Bizarre Google Maps sighting as superhero spotted on a roof in Japan

Google Earth can transport a user anywhere in the world at the swipe of a finger, so it is no surprise there are some weird and wonderful sights.

Eagle-eyed navigators share their most bizarre spots on online communities.

And one person must have had his spider senses tingling when noticed something unusual in Japan.

The social media user clocked a friendly neighbourhood superhero perched on a rooftop looking down.

The Reddit commentator shared a snip of a map that appears to show Spiderman himself surveying his surroundings.

Spidey is in his signature pose on the corner of a grey rooftop peering over the side of the building.

The grey sky above paints an ominous scene for the Avengers member as he crouches in the picture.

One user joked that Google had tried to disguise the hero.

They quipped: “I like how they still blurred out the face.”

Another joked: “Spiderman: Far From Home alternative?”

And a third chimed in: “Fingers crossed this is referenced in future Spiderman films.”

Meanwhile, a man in Centralia, Washington, was snapped on Google Maps channelling his inner Hulk.

The man was caught on camera holding a piece of rope in one hand whilst donning a giant green Hulk fist in the other.

The rope he is holding appears to be wrapped around the other person next to him as a makeshift lead.

The second figure in this scene is wearing red and black trainers, checked shorts and a white t-shirt.

The individual also has some fabric over their face like a pillow case.

One person joked online: “Weird people found in Centralia, Washington.”
