Caris LeVert's Air Jordan 35 Low "Journey" PE Tells the Story of His Hoops Career
Indiana Pacers guard Caris LeVert recently debuted a new Air Jordan 35 Low “Journey” PE during his team’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. One of the newer members of the Jordan Brand family, LeVert’s basketball saga is front and center on this low-cut Air Jordan 35 which uses colors from the professional (Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets) and collegiate teams (Michigan Wolverines) he’s played for, making for a creation that’s just as much history lesson as it is shoe.
Uppers feature a stark black base, then quickly apply colorful, abstract lines in red, yellow and blue alike. Although all of these shades get a chance to shine, yellow — which nods to both the Wolverines and the Pacers — takes up a lion’s share of space, appearing on the lateral midfoot’s Flightwire and the Air Jordan 5-style tongue’s Jumpman logo. There’s also a blue “Caris” hit embroidered on the inside of the tongue tab. A red Nike Air graphic is placed on the yellow heel tab, and down below a black Zoom Air-filled midsole with a responsive matte black Eclipse Plate 2.0 works with a marbled yellow, red and blue midsole to round off the look.
As the “Journey” was designed exclusively for LeVert, it will not see a retail release. However, LeVert may sport it or another special PE during the Pacers’ upcoming play-in game against the Charlotte Hornets.
