Is Chelsea Handler still “chillable?”
The comedian, 46, is one of the many talents tapped to participate in Spotify’s new celebrity-driven interview podcast, “Can We Be Friends?”
In each episode, an artificial intelligence system named Ruby will ask a pair of celebrities a set of questions to see how compatible they are on the “chillabillity” scale. The participants will be blindfolded during the interviews, so they will not know who they are speaking with.
Handler will be paired with “Queer Eye” star Bobby Berk, while actors Rachel Bilson and Joel McHale will see if they’re a match.
Singer Ray J and social media personality Tabitha Brown, meanwhile, will be linked together, and stand-up comic Margaret Cho and Olympian Adam Rippon will also have to see if they’re compatible.
It’s unclear if any of the stars have ever crossed paths before, but they may find a close friend by the time their episode is over.
These A-listers are the latest to team up with Spotify. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry inked a deal with the streaming service in December to produce their own podcasts, and Kim Kardashian is set to co-produce and co-host a podcast about her work with the Innocence Project.
“Can We Be Friends?” premieres on Spotify on May 18.
