Love Island fans say Instagram trail hints Kaz and Tyler break-up wasnt mutual

Eagle-eyed Love Island fans are questioning whether the break-up between Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank was actually mutual after spotting a series of social media clues.

The popular couple known as 'Kyler' made it to the final of this year's Love Island, but shocked fans after announcing their split four months later.

A joint statement from the pair expressed how "extremely sad" they both were after the mutual split, but fans aren't having it, reports The Mirror.

After some investigation, fans realised Kaz, 26, had untagged herself from the break-up post before Tyler, 27, deleted it from Instagram.

They also discovered the fashion blogger had unpinned her TikTok with Tyler in it.

"I’m not trying to be messy but I’m not believing that this breakup was mutual," mused one fan.

"So I was just on kaz’s page and realised that’s she untagged herself from the breakup post and unpinned the TikTok with him in. Update: Tyler’s now deleted the breakup post," added another.

While a third pondered: "She untagged herself first then an hour later he deleted lol."

Their statement read in full: "We will continue to be very much in one another’s lives and support each other in every way.

"We are so grateful that we have shared this Love Island experience with each other, and we will continue to support each other’s careers.

"Life since the villa has been amazing, but it’s taking time to adjust to a normal in the public eye. This part of the journey hasn’t been easy for us but we're learning."

The couple are said to have tried to make things work but, after realising they couldn't, went their separate ways.

They also had their fair share of ups and downs on Love Island.

They had coupled up with other people during the Casa Amor twist, with Tyler returning to the main villa with Clarisse Juliette to find Kaz sitting alongside Matthew MacNabb.

Their separation didn't last long though with the pair soon reuniting, much to the dismay of the newbies they'd coupled up with who were soon booted back home.

Kaz and Tyler ended up coming fourth in the competition, finishing behind Faye Winter and Teddy Soares, Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran and winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon, who are all still together.
