Maura Higgins to move in with Molly-Mae Hague after Giovanni Pernice split
Maura Higgins is reportedly "moving in" with Molly-Mae Hague after being left "really shocked" by her break-up with Giovanni Pernice.
The 30-year-old model and Strictly Come Dancing star, 31, confirmed their romance in July before their surprising split this month.
Giovanni is said to have blindsided Maura with his decision to move on from their relationship, leading the Love Island alum to delete all traces of him from her Instagram page.
Maura is said to be turning to her friends for support and is set to move back in with her close pals Molly-Mae, 22, and Tommy Fury, also 22, in wake of the split.
A source told The Sun: "Maura is really shocked by the break-up, especially because she had given up a lot to move in with him."
Confirming Maura would be staying with Molly in her Cheshire home, they added: "She'll be going to stay with Molly in Cheshire while she works out what to do next.
"Molly-Mae and Tommy are always there for her and have picked her back up after a split before, so are more than happy to have her to stay."
Maura and Giovanni's break-up follows the couple recently moving in together.
The Strictly star, who is partnered with deaf EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis on this year's show, is believed to have called time on their relationship over concerns they rarely saw each other amidst their hectic work schedules.
It's also alleged that Giovanni wasn't ready to settle down, contributing to the separation.
Maura previously moved in with Molly-Mae and Tommy in the wake of her split from former boyfriend, Chris Taylor.
The pair called it quits earlier this year after initially being friends and later pursuing a relationship.
Maura is thought to be having a 'difficult time coming to terms' with her and Giovanni's split.
Another source told The Sun: "Maura didn’t see this coming and is finding it very difficult to come to terms with.
"She genuinely thought Gio was the one."
