Phillip Schofield has given fans a behind-the-scenes tour of ITV studios including a sneak peek of the This Morning and The Cube sets.
The presenter, 59, who recently slammed “mean” Matthew Wright for fat-shaming the Friends cast, shared a sneak peek of the hit ITV shows which are filmed at the BBC Studioworks facility at the former BBC Television Centre in White City, London.
Sharing the view from behind the camera to his 3.1 million Instagram followers, Phillip waved goodbye to the crew at This Morning, which he co-presents with Holly Willoughby, 40.
He added: “It is the end of a very long week, shooting two shows so just finished This Morning, 'thanks guys', and now we are walking next door, or next door but one, to Studio One.”
Phillip donned a pale blue shirt as he panned to the This Morning set, broadcast from Studio Three, which included dozens of cameras, the famous blue sofa and mannequins dressed in summer outfits for the fashion segment.
The dad of two added: “We are leaving This Morning behind, 'bye Alex, see you guys'. I am just putting my mask on as I walk and out through the secret door, straight through here and then outside and round the corner.”
Phillip took his followers behind the set and revealed a spiral staircase alongside props and spare chairs for the topical daytime show.
The Dancing on Ice host panned to the hallway area which saw people heading to the various studios including Loose Women which is broadcast from Studio Two.
Walking into Studio One, Phillip revealed the set of The Million Pound Cube which includes the famous glass box.
Sharing a glimpse of The Cube itself, he added: “Then in through here, straight through the little gap in the curtain, and then there she is – ready and raring to go and recording in about 20 minutes."
Phillip also shared a selfie of his swift outfit change as filming got underway for the £1,000,000 jackpot prize show.
This Morning was previously filmed at Studio 8 at the London Studios on the Southbank for 12 years from 1996 to 2018.
The view of the River Thames became a famous fixture of the daytime show and is still the backdrop at the present location in West London.
