'RHOA': Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams React to Nene Leakes, Eva Marcille Fight

Nene Leakes and Eva Marcille are feuding on social media. The OG of The Real Housewives of Atlanta mentioned that the latter was not that exciting on the show. Both have been going back and forth in interviews and now their co-stars are weighing in on the drama. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams gave their thoughts on the feud.

What did Nene Leakes say about Eva Marcille?

If you’re a fan of RHOA, you know that Leakes is not one to hold back on her thoughts. The “tastiest peach” always blurts out what is on her mind for good and for bad. In a recent interview, Leakes said she loved the current cast line-up and ousted Marcille was dead weight.

“We have a great cast right now except for one person, I think,” Leakes told Entertainment Tonight. “I think only one person on this cast doesn’t seem to have carried any weight this season. And I think that’s very obvious who that person is, and I don’t think they actually sit in the cast that well.”

The America’s Next Top Model winner was notably absent on the cast trip to Greece as she was getting ready to give birth. Despite that, Leakes doesn’t think she adds much to the RHOA dynamic.

“I don’t feel like Eva brings that much to the cast,” Leakes added. “I’m just being honest. It’s really like, when you look at a show like, everybody — like the whole cast — is away, and you don’t miss the person at all, it’s sort of like, we didn’t even know you were here, you know? And all season, doing a lot of scenes from FaceTime, that’s been the last couple of seasons … So, If I had to change, I would change her.”

How did Eva Marcille react to Nene Leakes’ opinion?

It didn’t take long before Marcille reacted to what Leakes had said in her interview. She first posted a cryptic video on Instagram where she is heard saying, “Oooooh, she’s bothered.” Marcille didn’t name Leakes but everyone interpreted as a clap back.

Later on, she did an Instagram Live where she went deeper into the subject and really threw the shade toward Leakes.

“As far as my relevance on the show, I choose not to be ratchet. There’s already enough ratchet on the show, why do you need 2?” she continued. “I do me and represent the other part of black women that are smart, astute, well-spoken.”

“If I’m that boring and you spent time in your interview talking about me because your storyline is the fact that you have no storyline. If I do remember correctly, even though I wasn’t in Greece, I was on FaceTime and I still got a check unlike you who missed seven episodes this entire season. This reunion is going to be lit. Glue your wig all the way down sweetheart because it is going down,” she continued.

How did ‘RHOA’ co-stars react?

Bailey and Williams were on WWHL and Andy Cohen asked the ladies what their thoughts were on the feud between their co-stars.

“I’ve been on this show 10 years now,” Bailey said. “There’s been situations with people. There was one point where you guys said about letting Porsha go, ok? They didn’t, thank goodness, and she’s like one of the fan favorites now.”

Williams said that Marcille was incredibly upset. She then asked Leakes to send her the clip of what she said.

“What I saw was [Leakes] answering a question,” Williams recalled. “What I told Tanya was that when Nene has ever spoken about Cynthia or myself, like ‘these girls shouldn’t be on this show,’ it was hardcore and was right in your face: ‘these girls need to be fired.’ I felt like what she said about Eva was like, ‘she didn’t really bring a lot, she didn’t have much storyline, but I really like her.’ It didn’t seem as hardcore as it has been in the past for other people.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
