On Wednesday evening's episode of The One Show, presenters Jermaine Jenas and Alex Jones discussed the upcoming Euros 2020.
The pair talked about the football event in depth and spoke honestly about how they think England will do in the tournament and whether other teams will do a stirling job this year.
But when a confused Alex asked football pundit Jermaine about the reason why it was still called Euros 2020 instead of Euros 2021, the presenter seemed to get into a bit of a huff when having to explain the reason and told Alex, "let's just move on".
Introducing the segment, Alex said: Well, it's been a long time coming but Euros 2020 and now that's not a mistake – they've gone with last year's title haven't they Jermaine."
Appearing to be frustrated by this, Jermaine said "it's a long story " while huffing and puffing at his co-host.
He continued: It's 2021 now, we all know that but UEFA wanted to stick with Euros 2020 as their tag line, so let's just move on from it."
Jermaine then quickly moved the segment on and introduced their guest Peter Crouch who was appearing on the show via video link.
Despite things moving quickly, the awkwardness could evidently be seen on Alex's face, as she appeared to smile it off.
Later on in the programme footballer Peter gave his take on the Euros and promoted his new upcoming show, but The One show viewers felt it may be a bit too much.
