Well fear not, Amazon is bursting at the seams with good movies and TV shows in April 2020.
Hustlers
Working as a stripper to make ends meet, Destiny's life changes forever when she becomes friends with Ramona – the club's top money earner.
Ramona soon shows Destiny how to finagle her way around the wealthy Wall Street clientele who frequent the club.
But when the 2008 economic collapse cuts into their profits, the gals and two other dancers devise a daring scheme to take their lives back.
The Current War
Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse – the greatest inventors of the industrial age – engage in a battle of technology and ideas that will determine whose electrical system will power the new century.
Backed by J.P. Morgan, Edison dazzles the world by lighting Manhattan.
But Westinghouse, aided by Nikola Tesla, sees fatal flaws in Edison's direct current design. Westinghouse and Tesla bet everything on risky and dangerous alternating current.
Tales From The Loop
The series is set in Mercer, Ohio, which is dominated by the Mercer Center for Experimental Physics that has been constructed beneath the small town.
Known as The Loop, the facility aims to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe and also appears to enable seemingly impossible things to happen, which were once only in the realms of science fiction, from people and buildings disappearing to objects floating, strange vibrations and mysterious time shifting.
The drama puts the spotlight on several of Mercer’s residents and illustrates how The Loop affects their lives.
Angel Has Fallen
This is the third film in the Fallen trilogy.
In this movie, authorities take Secret Service agent Mike Banning into custody for the failed assassination attempt of U.S. President Allan Trumbull.
After escaping from his captors, Banning must evade the FBI and his own agency to find the real threat to the president.
Desperate to uncover the truth, he soon turns to unlikely allies to help clear his name and save the country from imminent danger.
Outlander (season 5)
Fans are haling the return of the time-travelling series.
In season 5 , following celebrations in honour of Brianna and Roger's wedding, Governor Tryon reminds Jamie of his obligation to hunt down and kill Murtagh Fitzgibbons.
