Following suit with previous crossovers, heroes across the multiverse united against a common threat, but Crisis on Infinite Earths was particularly significant in many ways. It was Batwoman’s first team up as the freshman Arrowverse show, and Arrow’s final collaboration because the series has ended.
Another area of importance is a potentially expanded rosterof heroes, despite Arrow’s conclusion. It was the first time that the BlackLightning narrative was integrated into the Arrowverse, and due to the outcome, the show could become incorporated into the shared TV universe moving forward.
Before Crisis on Infinite Earths, the heroes werescattered across different realities, but the consequences of this crossover changedthings. The events resulted in a newly rebooted universe in which all of theheroes exist in a single reality.
