Cleo kills abuser Pete in final showdown in Hollyoaks?
Hollyoaks legend Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) is on a mission to find out more information about Pete Buchanan (Kai Owen), who has returned to the village yet again.
The young woman was horrified earlier this year when she discovered that not only had Pete had been let out of prison, but that he was lurking nearby.
She later came face-to-face with her abuser in a tense showdown, and Toby Faroe (Bobby Gordon) beat him up in violent scenes.
Cleo told Pete to leave the village and never return, but the sick criminal has ignored her warnings.
In episodes due to transmit this week, Toby gets wind of Pete’s presence in the village, after Walter Deveraux (Trevor A Toussaint) fills him in on a parishioner of his named Phillip Baker.
Knowing that ‘Phillip’ was the alias Pete used the last time he was in the village, Toby is livid, and explains to Walter the truth about the abuser. Walter reckons Cleo would be better off not knowing.
Next week, however, Cleo knows everything.
And she’s on a mission to bring Pete to justice, as she manages to locate his contact details. Toby, however, isn’t feeling too optimistic about his girlfriend’s plans.
The young man later discovers that Cleo has been lying about going to work, and a confrontation leads to him finding out that her bulimia is relapsing.
The couple have a disagreement, and it’s clear that Cleo is obsessed over catching Pete. In fact, she later makes a drastic decision.
The question is: just how far will she go? Will she kill the abuser?
