Corrie spoilers hint at Peter attack, Sharon’s dark plot and a sudden exit

Coronation Street spoilers have revealed chaos to come in the next seven days, as the residents of Weatherfield face gang crime, hospital heartache, and botched wedding plans.

To kick things off, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) ends up pushing his nearest and dearest away in favour of his new romance with Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) – will he come to regret it?

Elsewhere, Sharon Bentley's (Tracie Bennett) real motive in returning to the street becomes clear, as she hunts down Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) with a crooked scheme driving her forward.

Sharon's meddling wreaks havoc for Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), whose liver transplant is jeopardised by a harrowing hospital attack.

And, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) shows Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) who's boss when he starts to cross his professional boundaries in the undertakers.

Below are the most shocking Corrie spoilers of the week – don't miss an episode.

Sharon's scheme exposed

Sharon's ulterior motive starts to come to light in upcoming scenes, as she tries to track down Leanne Battersby by subtly quizzing the locals.

Leanne recently fled Weatherfield after she reported gang boss Harvey to the police, moving to a secret location with Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and her son Simon (Alex Bain).

Sharon steals Gail Platt's (Helen Worth) laptop to try and find out Nick's number, later returning it and insisting she took it by mistake.

Overhearing Sarah Platt's (Tina O'Brien) conversation in the Kabin, she then offers to pick Sam up from school, and subtly tries to ask the schoolboy about the whereabouts of his dad.

Sharon convinces Sam to tell Nick that Peter Barlow is undergoing a liver transplant, hoping the teen will return to the cobbles.

When she later learns Simon visited Peter before fleeing again, she is left seething.

Will Sharon's schemes come to light before she plunges Leanne and her family into further danger?

Tyrone hits out

Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) convinces Fiz (Jenny McAlpine) she's better off letting Tyrone spend time with his daughters, taking the high road despite her heartache.

Tyrone tells Hope and Ruby he's no longer in love with their mum and takes them out for tea to spend time with them.

While they're eating out, Hope spots Alina and invites her to eat dinner with them, pointing out they ought to get to know her as she's become their dad's girlfriend.

The girls enjoy their time with Alina, but when Fiz spots them all piling out of the restaurant, she grows upset and hurries her daughters home.

Later, Tyrone insists he's planning on bringing Alina as his date to Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) and Abi Franklin's (Sally Carman) wedding, leaving the bride and Sally Webster (Sally Dynevor) horrified.

Realising no one wants Alina to come, Tyrone kicks up a fuss and pulls out of the wedding, insisting he will no longer be Kevin's best man.

Is Tyrone pushing his loved ones away for their sake of a fling, or is it true love?

Fears for Asha

Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) is concerned Asha's (Tanisha Corey) relationship with Corey (Maximus Evans) is moving too fast, so he decides on hashing things out with the teenager's dad.

However, when Dev realises Corey's dad doesn't give a toss, he loses his temper and ends up driving his daughter further away.

Eventually, he learns Asha and Corey have moved in together into Leanne's old flat, with his parents looking after their rent.

Corey tells Asha her dad isn't welcome to visit, as she tries to pretend she's happy in the flat when talking to Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson).

When they're alone, Corey shuts down Asha's request to get a cat, pushing her feelings to the side.

Later, Corey meets up with Kelly, with the pair striking up an instant connection – is the toxic teen about to cheat on Asha?

An unlikely friendship

Todd looks over George's books and points out a number of his clients haven't been paying bills on time, taking it upon himself to chase the payments.

George is upset at first but later concedes Todd's approach is likely better for business.

However, Todd pushes things too far when he starts selling the most expensive funeral options to those who can't afford them, sparking fury from one of his customers.

George sacks Todd as a result, who vents to Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver), only for his mum to discover the truth about what happened.

Todd goes back to George and agrees to do things his way, and later, when they work at the funeral of a young lad, they bond over the emotional experience.

It reminds Todd of his own son, and later he and George head to the pub, where they decide to be mates as well as colleagues.

Is this the beginning of a beautiful friendship?

Shock return and exit

In a honeymoon of sorts, Peter and Carla Connor (Alison King) start having sex in the living room in a fit of passion, only for Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) to accidentally walk in.

They later receive amazing news – they have found a donor for Peter's liver, and he's immediately ushered to the hospital to undergo the transplant.

However, while he waits in the hospital, Simon suddenly arrives, telling his dad he refuses to return to the hideout with mum Leanne.

Carla and Peter try to persuade Simon to leave, aware he's not safe, but the worried dad suddenly spots a cleaner ringing one of Harvey's (Will Mellor) cronies to alert him to Simon's location.

As Simon makes his getaway, the cleaner decks Peter in the head, leaving him worse for wear.

The doctors then inform Peter they can't go ahead with the transplant, as his head injury is too severe to bear the trauma of the surgery.

Has Peter's only chance for a return to full health slipped away?
