Corrie’s Colson Smith shows off incredible ten-stone weight-loss
Coronation Street actor Colson Smith looks incredible after shedding ten stone in weight.
The TV star has been working hard to slim down and beat the bulge with a gruelling fitness schedule and strict diet.
And judging by these latest snaps, the 22-year-old is now every inch the fitness pro as he went shopping in Manchester.
Pictured in a supermarket with Corrie co-star Ben Price, Colson looked a shadow of his former self, ahead of his dramatic weight-loss journey.
Sporting a pair of gym shorts, the actor showed off his toned legs.
And with a matching hoodie and gym trainers, Colson was seen buying fresh fruit as he kept to his healthy diet.
Colson recently took a break from the long-running hit ITV soap, where he pays the loveable character Craig Tinker.
And amazingly he used his valuable time off to help his sister Hannah, who is a vet, sheering sheep during lambing season on her farm!
"April is lambing season and I've got the call up – I'm in for lambing season,” revealed Colson on the Sofa Cinema Club podcast.
"I'm a top farmer. I can drive the tractor, I'm good at that kind of stuff.
"It's been full-on. I finished work and I got a call saying, "you need to come and help out, we need some help on the farm".
Colson’s incredible weight-loss has been down to plenty of hard work and determination.
But his commendable results left him worried how his fellow cast members might react when they saw him again after the coronavirus lockdown.
He even joked that he might even have to wear a fat suit when he returned to the cobbles, fearing his work colleagues, friends and fans of the show might not recognise him after losing so much weight.
"We are in direct continuity, but I've almost lost about ten stone since we left work so I'm not sure that [my hair] is going to be the biggest of their issues,” he told The Sun.

"I might be wearing a wig and a fat suit when we go back. Now we go to a purple shampoo, which almost makes it a platinum sort of colour, which basically takes the ginger pigment out.
"So the yellow-ness will go, and I will have a head of blonde hair, which I technically do now."
