Emmerdale’s Jonny McPherson splits from co-star Natalie J. Robb

Emmerdale's Jonny McPherson has split from Natalie J Robb after a year and a half romance.

The couple grey close during a charity trip to Lapland in December 2019.

It wasn't until July 2020 that they decided to go public with their romance.

However, a source has now revealed that despite them moving in together they have called time on their relationship.

Jonny, who plays Dr Liam Cavanagh in the hit ITV soap, and Natalie, who plays Moiria Barton, are understood to have split 'several months ago' according to Digital Spy.

Speaking on Lorraine earlier this week, Jonny hinted thing had come to an end and he was single once more.

Chatting about previously living on a boat, Jonny said: "After living on it for about four years, I now feel that if I go to a normal house: "What do you do with all this space? There's so much."

"It's seven foot wide, a traditional English narrow boat. So I can barely stick my arms out! It's got a seven foot cabin height, so I can just about get on my tip-toes.

"You've got a living area for watching telly or whatever, then you've got a place to eat, a kitchen and a bedroom. And that's it and that's all you need.

"The beautiful thing about living on a boat is that if you get annoyed with your neighbours, you can cast off and chug down the way!"

When you've got a permanent mooring, it's fine because you've got everything on tap.

"But when you're chugging about, you've got this low level anxiety of: 'How much water have I got left? Okay, I've got one shower and a couple of pots of tea. And then I've got enough electricity to last me half a day, so I've got to get to the next services but I haven't got time!"

In November the actor, 46, opened up about moving in with Natalie.

Jonny told The Mirror: 'We had to make a decision as lots of couples did.

"We decided to move in together and so, yes, lockdown did fast forward our relationship.

"We get on so well. We come from quite different backgrounds but we are essentially the same person.

"We are both a pair of big kids. We have exactly the same stupid humour."
