Gemma Collins says she was forced her to do 'easier work outs' and sleep longer this week during ongoing health battle

GEMMA Collins has revealed she's slowed down in recent days, as she battles a bad week of polycystic ovary syndrome.

The 40-year-old Diva Forever star has continued to inspire fans with her incredible weight loss journey, which she often documents on Instagram.

In her latest post, Gemma told her followers she's taken it easy after battling a hard week.

She penned: "Happy Sunday guys 🙌🏻 recap on the week. My PCOS hasn’t been great this week but I found the strength to keep going.

"I did easier work outs and knew to listen to my body. I went to bed earlier got up a little later and didn’t over do it. I’m always juggling a lot of plates but I just took it slower."

Gemma continued: "This post is for anyone who needs to dig a little deeper you can do it 💗🙌🏻 HAPPY SUNDAY and I’m literally counting down the hours for Tom!!! X FREEDOM."

The Towie star accompanied the message with a shot of herself posing in vibrant pink gym wear.

Fans rushed to show the GC support, with one saying: "Good for you, an inspiration to thousands of men and woman."

A second added: "PCOS sufferer too. It's so hard somedays but listen to you body – you look amazing."

Another wrote: "Well done Gemma, you’re doing great!"

Gemma, who has lost three-and-a-half stone, recently rebranded herself as the "fitness queen" as she undergoes a "massive health overhaul".

She also revealed that she regrets promoting diet injections when she was in a "desperate place to lose weight".

Speaking on the GC podcast, she said: "I kind of regret doing it but I feel like sometimes you’re in such a desperate place and you want to lose weight but actually I’ve come away from all the diet promotion because I wish we could get rid of that word diet."

Meanwhile, last year, Gemma opened up on living with PCOS.

The star explained the condition made her gain weight as she shared a "very slim" snap of herself in her 20s.

At the time, she wrote on Instagram: "As you can see guys when I was in my 20s I was very slim then I was told I had PCOS and it’s been a struggle ever since however I make the most of myself and remain positive because it’s what in your heart counts the most sending love to all the PCOS sufferers it’s not easy and always be kind people people are not always over weight because of all the stereo typical bullying comments!!

"I CHOSE to RISE ABOVE and continued to promote body confidence even when I had my own personal struggles and the secret to my success was just being ME!"
