Gogglebox's Pete and Sophie share cute throwback as fans say they 'haven't changed'

GOGGLEBOX fans were left gobsmacked at how little siblings Pete and Sophie Sandiford had changed after they shared en epic throwback picture.

The two have found fame for their hilarious one-liners on the Channel 4 show, and Sophie posed a side-by-side picture, captioning it: How it started, How it’s going."

The baby picture saw Sophie sitting on the right of Pete – where she still sits now on TV.

Baby Sophie wore a lilac baby dress while older brother Pete paired denim shorts with a polo shirt.

"You two really havent changed!" commented one fan as another added: "Pete doesnt look any different except from his height."

One amused fan made a similar remar, tweeting: "Pete hasn't changed, sorry Pete!"

Pete, 25, and Sophie, 23, hail from Blackpool where they film their slots on Gogglebox.

The pair still work regular day jobs despite the start of their TV gig in 2018, with Sophie working as a shop window dresser while Pete has a job in the insurance industry.

As part of the Googlebox cast, the siblings have to commit to 12 hours of filming each week split across two six-hour shifts.

As a family, they receive a monthly balance of £1,500 which the two split between themselves at their own discretion.

The show has continued filming amid the coronavirus pandemic, and showbosses were forced to defend cast members appearing in the same room together despite not living under the same roof.

In May, viewers saw sisters Ellie and Izzi filming together even though they don't live together.

One enraged viewer said on Twitter: "Another week passes where I haven’t seen my family, yet Ellie still pops round to Izzi’s on #Gogglebox."

And one more remarked: "Very confused how Ellie and Izzy are filming #Gogglebox together? They don’t live in the same house."

The hit series – which sees its stars across the country react to television from their own homes – laer put viewers' minds at rest with a pre-show announcement that claimed: "Just in case you're worried, they are all keeping to the guidelines of social distancing."
