Kirk Norcross ‘rejects The Only Way Is Essex reunion offer’ in favour of ‘unblocking drains’
The Only Way Is Essex original cast member Kirk Norcross has reportedly turned down the offer to appear on the reunion he it’s been claimed he favours unblocking drains to reality fame.
The 32 year old former reality star was reportedly a top pick for TOWIE show bosses to appear on the reunion special series, in honour of the programme’s 10th anniversary.
But, it has now been reported Kirk, who recently said his pregnant ex Lauren Pope is the “love of his life”, no longer wants to be a part of the ITV series which found him fame.
A source said: “ITV are gutted because they really wanted Kirk to take part but, in the end, he decided he wanted no part in it.

“When the idea first came up Kirk was up for it. But, over time, he’s changed his mind. He’s had time to think about what going back might mean and he doesn’t want to go there.
“As far as Kirk is concerned that life is behind him now and he’s only looking forward,” the insider continued to The Sun Online.
Following his TOWIE fame, Kirk has since gone on to manage his own jet washing and drain unblocking company called KN Services in Essex.
Earlier this year, Kirk slammed the show and its bosses for not taking care of him during his time on TOWIE.
Looking back on his time on the show after quitting in 2012 Kirk said: “Reality TV turned me into a monster but the bosses didn't want to look after the monster they created.
“I’m earning a living through hard work. I love getting my pay packet after finishing a job. For me there's no better feeling in the world.
“Sometimes I see re-runs of TOWIE on the telly with me on it and I have to do a double-take.
“I think: ‘Is that really me?’ as my life is very different now. But I have no plans on going back to the way things were.”

Announcing the news in the caption, they wrote: “The Only Way is Essex is returning to @itvbe to celebrate its 10-year anniversary series!
“It’s time for another visit for a gossip and glamour with surprise visits from some of our favourite TOWIE faces from the past decade, who are returning to our screens to join in the celebrations of this anniversary series.”
They explained: “The upcoming mega-series will return to screen later this year as the show celebrates this special anniversary with not one but two episodes every week. What happens in Essex, won’t stay in Essex! #TOWIE10”.
