Alba Party leader Alex Salmond said he and his party were on track to win a super-majority with the SNP in the upcoming Holyrood election. While speaking on Good Morning Britain (GMB) he insisted the latest polling indicates his new party is gaining key support. However, GMB host Kate Garraway argued SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon is refusing to work with Mr Salmond.
The pair then began shouting over one another till Mr Salmand demanded the host allow him to answer in order to continue the conversation.
Ms Garroway remarked that while some polling have insisted the Alba Party has gained support, it does not say that Mr Salmond is fit to stand for an election.
She said: “I am sorry to say, but the polling doesn’t say you, due to the confusing mess.
“There are going to be people who have had a created impression of you.”

Mr Salmond hit back: “Kate, if you keep interrupting me it is going to be very difficult to conduct an interview.
“Can you let me answer the question?
“I was going to say not just myself and Nicola but all politicians have to cooperate under a common cause.”
