Created by those behind The Traitors, Rise and Fall has taken 16 contestants to a central London high-rise building and split into Rulers and Grafters. It is the job of the Grafters to do what they can to get to the top and the Rulers from moving below their powerful stations in order to get their hands on the prize money. How long is Rise and Fall on for?

Channel 4’s Rise and Fall kicked off on Sunday, March 19, at 9pm with a 90-minute long special to introduce the show’s concept.

During the remainder of this first week, the reality series was on every weeknight at 10pm.

After taking a break over the weekend, Rise and Fall returned on Monday, March 27, once again for the latest instalment.

However, the schedule has since been altered which has confused some fans.

The first week saw five episodes air, with one coming out each evening, Monday to Friday.

Unfortunately, there are going to be fewer episodes released this time around, with Rise and Fall instead on Monday to Thursday at 10pm.

It has already been announced that this first season is going to consist of 18 episodes in total.

So bearing in mind this shake-up to the schedule, the Rise and Fall finale is expected to come out on Thursday, April 13.

If you’re unable to watch the show live at any point, then there is no need to worry.

Once an episode has come out on Channel 4, it will then be released on its streaming service All4.

Unlike other streamers such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, All4 is free, with just a registered email address needed to gain access to its shows.

Ahead of its release, Channel 4 boss Ian Katz described the show’s format as “a reality version of the movie Parasite”, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2020.

It wasn’t too long before it was announced BBC Radio One presenter Greg James would be leading the way.

Taking to Twitter to reveal his new job role, James said: “It’s a game of winning power.

“So it’s about getting power. Keeping power. Our contestants, 16 of them, are for all walks of life and they will live here.

“Some of them will rise to the top, some will fall to the bottom, but one person will walk away with an enormous cash prize.”

Rise and Fall is available to watch on Channel 4 and All4.
