Rylan Clark breaks silence on Big Brother return and if he’ll host ITV reboot | The Sun
RYLAN Clark has broken his silence on his 'return' to Big Brother – and revealed whether or not he will host the ITV reboot.
The former X Factor star took to Twitter to confirm that he had "not been asked to host the show" as he insisted it was "very early days" after the announcement the popular reality show would return.
Rylan, 33, had been pipped by fans to be top of the list to become the host of the new series, which is due to hit screens in 2023.
But today, he shut down speculation that he had been "asked" to present Big Brother, which has been recommissioned by ITV2.
It was originally broadcast on Channel 4 from 2000 to 2010, before moving to Channel 5 until 2018 when it was tragically axed.
Rylan, who was a contestant on the celebrity spin-off of the show, went on to present Celebrity Big Brother after he won in 2013.

Clearing up the rumours on Twitter, he told fans on Tuesday morning: "Should clarify, I've not been asked to host the show.
"As a fan, like always, I’m made up it’s coming back. I know how hard we all fought to keep that name alive and I’m so glad it paid off.
"The OG reality is back. It’s the news we wanted. Welcome back bro."

He went on to make some suggestions of how he thinks the show could be improved in the upcoming series in a second tweet.
His suggestions included "normal housemates from all walks" of life, as well as "live" evictions and "no outside contact", similar to the set-up of popular ITV2 dating show Love Island.
"Public vote", "some form of Live feed" and for "Big Brother to always be in charge" were among the other demands on the list.
"We will see, very early days re team/host," Rylan concluded. "Regardless, we wanted it back and it came back."
Fans flooded the comments section to gush that they hope that Rylan is chosen as the host by ITV2 bosses.
"I really hope you do get asked," one wrote, as a second chimed in: "It wouldn't be Big Brother without you and Emma Willis."
"You're the only one who can present this now, I'm setting up a petition," a third said alongside crying emojis.
