Steph McGovern in ‘trouble’ with her partner after ’embarrassing’ mishap occurred

Steph McGovern was back on Channel 4 with The Steph Show this afternoon which was put together live from her living room. The presenter has been recording her brand new programme at home as she adheres to the government’s guidelines to stay at home amid the coronavirus pandemic. However, Steph revealed she’d suffered an embarrassing blunder involving her partner as the couple manage their new working environment.

Steph kicked off the show in the usual fashion by revealing the host of guests she’d be interviewing throughout the hour.

She went on to confess how she got into “trouble” with her partner over an awkward slip-up with technology.

She began: “One of the things we’re going to be talking about as well is working from home, there’s loads of us doing it now.

“And it’s really hard not to get distracted, I keep looking out the window at people putting their bins out and thinking, ‘Well, she’s been out twice now.’”

“It’s just hard isn’t it especially if you’ve got kids at home, pets or even a partner to be honest,” she continued.

“I’m just going to tell you what happened to me the other day I got in a bit of trouble because I’ve been using my partner’s headset and microphone to record a podcast I’m doing.

“The next day I was on my phone, I was trying to play some clips and I couldn’t understand why these clips weren’t playing on my phone.

“I was like ‘where’s the audio?’ then all of a sudden in the room next door I heard my partner apologising on her very serious conference call with her team.”

Steph confessed: “The clip I had been playing on my phone had been going out on through her speakers on her headset.

“And to make matters worse it was a clip from the podcast about how I nearly wet myself on a train!

“So anyway, there we are, there’s my embarrassing story of working from home.”

The Channel 4 presenter then urged viewers to get in touch with their working from home blunders.
