The Mandalorian can be watched exclusively on Disney+ and is only available to subscribers.

Disney+ is priced at £5.99 monthly or £59.99 for an annual subscription with the option of a 15 percent discount. However, please see the Disney Plus website for the full terms and conditions.

There’s also the option of a seven-day free trial to Disney+ which will give you access to all content on the streamer for a week.

However, those hoping to watch the whole series of The Mandalorian using the free trial will be disappointed.

  • Disney+: Fans fume over The Mandalorian twist

Disney+ is releasing episodes on a weekly basis and only the first two instalments are available.

You will have to subscribe to access episodes of the Star Wars shows with the service marking a departure from Netflix, which is known to drop a show in one go.

New episodes of The Mandalorian will be dropping on Fridays at 12.01 Pacific Standard Time, which will be 7am GMT in the UK.

Disney+ subscribers will get content advert-free and the platform allows users to stream on four devices as the same time.

A Disney+ account also allows you unlimited downloads on up to 10 devices, so you can watch The Mandalorian while on the go without an internet connection.

Those hoping to share their account with family members can set up a maximum of seven different profiles.

The Mandalorian and other Disney+ content can be viewed on numerous devices including televisions, mobile phones, laptops and tablets.

To subscribe, you can do so either via the website or make an in-app purchase on Amazon, Apple, Android, Roku, Microsoft, among other supported devices.

Along with the back catalogue of Disney, Star Wars and Marvel films and TV shows, the platform will also host Pixar and National Geographic content as well as all 30 seasons of The Simpsons.

According to Disney, there will be almost 500 movies and up to 7,5000 episodes of programmes on the platform.

The Mandalorian has already got the greenlight for season two from Disney+ after the head of the company Bob Iger revealed the renewal news in February 2020.

Iger told media including Collider: “The priority in the next few years is television with The Mandalorian season two coming in October, and then more coming from The Mandalorian thereafter, including the possibility of infusing it with more characters and the possibility of taking those characters in their own direction in terms of series.”

His words suggest there will be more from The Mandalorian in the pipeline as well as further spin-offs.

Alongside this, Star Wars fans can expect more movies in the works.
