FOUR kids have died after a "high-on-drugs" semi driver crashed into a car in Indiana.
Anesa Noel Acosta, 15, Quintin Michael McGowan, 13, Brekkin Riley Bruce, 8 and Trentin Beau Bruce, 6, were killed after the vehicle caught on fire, police confirmed.
The Indiana State has said that a 2004 Kenworth Tractor crashed into traffic on Thursday afternoon.
The driver of the semi, Corey Withrow, 31, escaped the burning vehicle with injuries that were non-life-threatening and was taken to hospital.
Withrow was then arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in a crash causing death, KCTV reported.
In a statement from the Indiana State Police, it said the preliminary criminal investigation indicated that drugs were a contributing factor in causing the crash.
