A man wearing nothing but boxers was nabbed outside the White House on Friday after jumping a barricade.
The incident occurred just before a hastily arranged briefing-room appearance by President Trump to urge the reopening of churches.
CBS News footage showed the man laying belly-up on Pennsylvania Avenue, then dramatically flipping over officers rushed over to cuff him from behind.
It was not immediately clear what if anything the man was protesting. The US Secret Service did not respond to a request for comment.
The presidential complex is a magnet for activists and for the mentally unstable. Last year, two people set themselves on fire in separate incidents — one ending in death.
In response to a spree of fence-jumping incidents during former President Barack Obama’s time in office, authorities are in the process of doubling the height of the White House’s fence.
